My wife and I love to travel, but so far, on most of our travels we've visited new places. The only place that we have revisited together is Paris, were we'd been twice before this trip. The reason for this trip was celebrating my wife's birthday (and Paris is her favourite city), and we both had two days off from work because of Ascension Thursday - perfect for a weekend getaway!

Because of the holiday, the price of airline tickets had rocketed, so instead of staying the full weekend in Paris, we decided to go Thursday-Saturday, which was a little cheaper less expensive. Early morning flight on Thursday and late evening flight on Saturday still meant almost three full days in France, so we were really looking forward to this trip!

On our previous trips to Paris, we have flown both SAS and Air France, and I'm happy to say that we flew with Air France again on this trip. The way I see it, SAS have become a low cost carrier with full fares, whereas Air France still act like a good old airline, where food and drinks are included in the ticket. Baggage-wise, only hand baggage was included though, but since this was a short trip, that would suffice.
