These two "Why Paris Is Always a Good Idea" posts are basically photo essays, and I'll let the photos do most of the work. This first part is about the French cuisine. The food in France is delicious, and whenever we're here, we always try to eat as much French food as possible. Sure, there are numerous restaurants in Paris with all kinds of food, but in Paris, we like to stick with the local cuisine.
I'm not an avid food photographer though, so my apologies beforehand. The next post will be about the sights in Paris, and that kind of photography is more up my alley. But practice makes perfect, right? Without further ado, let's take a look at what food we indulged in on this stay in Paris...
Shrimp and grape fruit salad |
Enjoying an espresso in a sunlit sidewalk cafe |
Escargots |
Salmon tartare and grilled vegetables |
Oysters |
Salmon and mullet tartare |
Moules frites - yes, we like fish and shellfish... |
Onion soup (soupe a l'oignon) |
Rabbit in mustard sauce |
Crème brûlée |
Typical French breakfast (petit déjeuner) at a sidewalk cafe |
