OK, this is not going to be a comprehensive review of the Primeclass Lounge at Zagreb Airport, but a really short one. However, it was my first lounge visit of the year, and it would mean a chance to post the first lounge review here on Feuilladetravel, so here goes anyway:

The bus picked us up at Sheraton Zagreb Hotel at 6:15, and took us to the airport to give us a little less than two hours before scheduled departure time.

Heading back to ZAG

I liked the super blue trams in Zagreb, but they're basically everything I saw of the city...

And we're back at the airport. This is our line!

Since we were travelling business class to Copenhagen (which was the only option they had left on this flight when we got rebooked), we could use the business class line for check in. It looked like all of Zagreb had come here this morning, so I was happy to be able to skip the economy class line which snaked its way through most of the check in area. But the business class line was a bit slow as well. They only had two counters, but five airlines using those two counters (Croatia, Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss and Brussels). Soon enough however, we had checked in and were on our way to security, which was a lot faster.

The entrance to Primeclass Lounge

The Primeclass Lounge at Zagreb is located airside and has two areas; one for dining, and one for working. As we didn't have time to eat breakfast at our hotel, we headed to the dining area. It was basically like a simple hotel breakfast, with tea/coffee, juices, yoghurt and sandwiches. They also had a table with alcoholic beverages, and despite the early hour, I had to try the local Slivovitz (plum brandy). When in Rome, right?

Coffee, cherry juice, yoghurt and burek

Slivovitz - a little too sweet for my taste

The food was decent, but like I said, like a simple hotel breakfast. Filling, but nothing to go gaga over. After having breakfast, we headed to our departure gate, so I didn't really check out the working space of Primeclass Lounge. The chairs looked a bit more comfortable there, but it was a small space as well. I doubt anyone would go out of their way to try out this lounge, but it served its purpose for us this morning. Now, let's catch that that bird to Copenhagen!
